The garden, which has remained unchanged since its creation in the mid-19th century, comprises two distinct areas: a regular garden and a Romantic landscape garden. Henri Michel was involved in the design of this ensemble. Numerous ornaments punctuate its composition, and it features a drainage system to protect against flooding from the Saône.

Le parc du château s'étend sur plus de 60 ha
Aménagé ainsi depuis plus de 150 ans, il est traversé par de belles allées forestières qui permettent l'exploitation des bois et les promenades en famille. Essences rares et variées, étang, verger et jardin.
Il existe de nombreuses possibilités d'animations touristiques (promenades en calèche, tennis...) et culturelles (expositions, peintures, autres...) Gite rural sur place
C' était à l'origine une maison forte (13è s), les anciennes douves sont encore visibles. Remanié au cours de l'histoire ces restaurations et transformations lui donnent sa facture actuelle : 18 et 19 è siècle. Il possède à l'intérieur des pièces avec des boiseries remarquables. Attenant, existe une belle chapelle néogothique, à ne pas confondre avec "l'ancienne chapelle" baroque, en face du chateau et à côté des anciennes fondations.

The Jardin des Vieilles Vignes at Valay in the Franche Comté region was born of my passion for plants and botany.
Along the way, you'll discover trees and shrubs that are often little-known and rarely planted, along with perennials, bulbs and grasses.
This adventure began around 45 years ago.
The garden is cultivated naturally, and the soil is regularly covered with grass clippings, shredded prunings and compost, which greatly reduces the need for upkeep.
My motto: whatever comes out of the garden, goes back in!
